Welcyon

Welcyon is a chain of health clubs designed for people over the age of 50.

Welcyon is a chain of health clubs designed for people over the age of 50,  Welcyon's headquarters are in Edina, Minnesota and they have three other sites in Boise, Idaho; Henderson, Nevada; and Fargo, North Dakota.

I have not visited a Welcyon center so I only know what I have read on their website and what I can see in their pictures.  I wish there were a Welcyon center near my home.  Welcyon uses Hur air resistance equipment for strength training.  This is similar to the Keiser equipment that I chose for my gym.  I think air resistance is ideal for strength training because it is quiet and it is easy to change the level of resistance.  The Hur equipment has built-in computer programs to keep track of each client's progress.   Welcyon also has easy-to-use cardio equipment.

I don't know if I will get a chance to visit a Welcyon site myself, but if you live near one of these centers, please drop by and check them out and tell them you read about them on Gransstaystrong.com
